Open Road and Cove Coming to Restaurant Spaces at The Collection

It didn’t take long for the real estate investment firm CCLC to fill two large restaurant vacancies at The Collection at Chevy Chase. 

Less than two weeks after Junction Bistro, Bar & Bakery and The Hunter’s Hound abruptly closed their doors at 5741 Wisconsin Ave., CCLC has announced Metropolitan Hospitality Group plans to open two restaurants in those spaces later this year. 

In the Hunter’s Hound space, MHG is opening another outpost of its popular Open Road restaurants, to go along with its others in Merrifield, Arlington, Reston and Tysons, its newest location. 

In the smaller Junction space, MHG plans to debut a new concept, an all-day wine bar and cafe dubbed Cove. 

Both restaurants are expected to open in the fourth quarter, CCLC, formerly Chevy Chase Land Co., said in a news release.
