The Chevy Chase Land Company Unveils New Name and Brand Reflecting Growth and Vision for the Future

Chevy Chase, MD (September 22, 2025) – After more than 135 years as a trusted leader in the Washington, D.C. region’s commercial real estate market, the now formerly named The Chevy Chase Land Company introduces a new name, bold look, and clear vision for the future. Moving forward, the company will be known simply as CCLC.

The rebrand honors the company’s legacy of developing more than 2,000 acres and 4 million square feet of award-winning office, retail, and residential space while signaling its evolution into a more robust commercial real estate investment and asset management firm, with expanded services and a growing roster of third-party asset management clients. The refreshed identity is rooted in CCLC’s core values of collaboration, integrity, and forward-thinking innovation.

CCLC plans to continue investment and development across the region while also actively leasing and asset managing properties within the firm’s portfolio, such as 2 Bethesda Metro and The Collection, as well as third-party office and retail properties. The firm’s new logo features interlocking “C”s, a nod to the company’s Chevy Chase roots and its ongoing commitment to collaboration and community. The modernized color palette, anchored by deep navy with vibrant green and blue accents, signals both stability and optimism. A new positioning line, Real Estate Partners, reinforces the company’s role as a trusted partner across all facets of commercial real estate.
