New Neighborhood Restaurant, Wheelhouse, from Owners of Surfside and Millie’s Coming to Chevy Chase

It will be a a restaurant for everyone in the neighborhood. Anyone who has been to or walked by Millie’s knows that this is very good news indeed! The place is always packed. And for good reason. The food is great and the vibe is super chill and pleasant. And speaking of the vibe, like Millie’s and Surfside, Wheelhouse will also have a nautical theme. ‘Wheelhouse’ and all…

And while there will be seafood I’m told the menu will be American style – so I think we’ll be able to get burgers and such too. Oh yeah, pertinent to my personal dreams, there will also be a large bar. I’m thinking similar to how Surfside is set up. Anyway, great news for the neighborhood and lots more details as they get closer to opening. If all goes well plans are to open this Spring.
